Rebecca Canady

I earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Science in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of North Carolina—Chapel Hill, and am a North Carolina licensed, ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist.

I provide speech-language therapy services for families and children ages 2 through 15. I also serve in multiple settings including home health, preschool, public school, private clinic and private schools.

My experience includes treating children with articulation and phonological disorders, motor-based speech disorders (apraxia), receptive/expressive language disorders, auditory processing disorders, cognitive disorders, and pragmatic language disorders. I have a particular interest in the areas of childhood language disorders, and articulation/phonological disorders.

Currently I serve clients at Charlotte Latin School, and the TerrificTalkers clinic.

In my spare time, I enjoy exercise, movies, traveling, and spending time with my two children and one- eyed dog, Waldo.
