Erica H. Blumenthal

I earned my both my Bachelors degree and Master of Arts Degree in Communication Disorders from Appalachian State University. I am a North Carolina licensed speech-language pathologist and hold my certificate of clinical competence through the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). I have served in elementary and preschool settings, and in private practices.

I work with students with a range of speech-language delays and disorders, articulation difficulties, fluency disorders, phonological awareness, hearing impairment, and auditory processing. I love working with children of all ages and their families. I focus on empowering parents to actively assist speech, language, and communication strategies throughout their child’s daily environments.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my three boys and being outdoors. I engage in active sports including skiing, mountain biking, & hiking.
