Hi' I am Christina Fontaine
I am an ASHA certified, NC licensed speech-language pathologist, and earned my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Clemson University and a Masters of Speech Pathology from the University of South Carolina.
I have provided pediatric speech-language therapy services for over 20 years and work in multiple settings, including telehealth, schools, daycares, and private practice. I received specialty training in Orofacial Myology: Make the Connection, K-SLP – The Kaufman Speech to Language Protocol, Three Part Treatment Plan for Oral Motor Therapy, Visualizing & Verbalizing program, The Zones of Regulation: Framework Designed to Foster Self-Regulation and Emotional Control, and Orton-Gillingham approach to reading instruction.
My professional experience covers a variety of speech-language disorders with special areas of interest in articulation, phonology, childhood language development, early literacy development, and auditory processing.
Outside of work, I enjoy exercising, traveling, and spending time with my family.
